Get ready for the Advanced Placement Test, SAT, ACT, and MCAT. Excel in Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

We hire teachers, not tutors. Our educators are certified and have experience teaching STEM, SAT, and ACT content to hundreds or thousands of students. We know how kids learn, how they are motivated, and how they can self-sabotage. We know how to develop and strengthen executive function. We don't just teach science and test prep; we teach study strategies that empower students for the rest of their lives. We specialize in teaching students with challenges like ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities, because we know how hard school and tests can be for them and their potential can be easily undercut.

What we offer

What you can expect from our sessions

Practice Tests

We begin by assessing students' abilities. We regularly test students with real practice tests to evaluate progress and psychologically prepare them for the actual multi-hour exams. We analyze their results and modify study plans as needed. And we share these progress reports with parents.

Targeted Homework

Students can expect extra practice/homework that fits into their schedule. All our practice reinforces the learning gained during each tutoring session.

We do more than teach Math, English, and Science. We teach each learner the test-taking logic of the SAT, ACT, AP, and MCAT. We break down how test questions are written and the strategies students can use to untangle the hardest questions.

Strategy Sessions
Detailed Reports

Parents can expect status reports on how their kids are doing in sessions, in school, and on their progress studying for important exams.

Executive Functioning

We help students get and stay organized. We teach them how to build study plans, stay on top of due dates, and develop the confidence to self-advocate with teachers. We hold kids accountable for their work and set high, but realistic, expectations.

If desired, we counsel teenagers and parents on the college application process and how to maximize each student's individual strengths.
